as though you have never seen it before.

Common misconceptions about
Home Staging.

Answers to Frequently Asked
Staging Questions.
|

Myth 1: Staging is Decorating…
FACT: Staging
is NOT Decorating. Decorating is personalizing the
home to appeal to one or two homeowners. Decorating
turns a house into a home. When you make the decision
to sell your home, your home becomes a product. To
maximize the return on your investment you must market
your home effectively. Staging turns a home into
an appealing house. Staging is De-Personalizing and
preparing a house for the unknown Buyer. When selecting
a qualified Home Stager, make sure you hire an accredited
and experienced Stager with a proven track record.
Using Master Stagers gives your home an edge over
the competition. |
Myth 2: Staging Costs
Too Much…
FACT: Staging
is an INVESTMENT in getting a house sold. Your home is your largest
investment, so why risk the equity in your home? The investment in
Staging is always less than your first price reduction. Master Stagers
will work within your budget and time frame to properly prepare your
property for sale. When compared with the other costs of selling a
home, Staging is very reasonable. Statistics show that staged homes
sell for at least 6.9% more than comparable unstaged homes. We like
to ask our clients “Can you afford NOT to Stage?”.

Myth 3: All I need Are
Lights, Flowers & Music…
FACT: Lights,
Flowers and Music are great for showing a house, but that is
not Staging. Staging requires an objective and professional assessment
of a home’s strengths and challenge areas, and solutions to help
Buyers fall in love with what they see. This requires more than
just flowers and music. It requires a detailed Action Plan which
Master Stagers will assist you in preparing to help you get your
home STAGED and SOLD!

Myth 4: I Can Just Watch
One of Those Shows…
FACT: Shows
on HGTV™ and similar channels give Sellers the idea that they need to
do something to their house to prepare it for sale, but Sellers cannot
truly be objective in a house they have been living in. Sellers need
an independent third party opinion and experience to get it properly
Staged. We value our clients and work closely with them and their Realtors
to help get a house Sold.
